Colocasia Thai Giant Summary

Colocasia Thai Giant is a plant that truly lives up to its name!
Typical of the Colocasia breed, these "elephant ears" are both large and somewhat downward in their position.  However, this is a giant breed!  Each leaf is around 50% larger than the last, and it has been known for these to get to truly giant proportions (think umbrella sized individual leaves)!
Whilst young, place the pot in a saucer of water and water only via the saucer, these like "wet feet" and can get a form of rot if you water the top of the compost as you would a normal plant.  Once you get a leaf the size of your hand, the plant is ready to race off, and from the following leaf, the plant is going to want a lot of feed and water (you can also water from above then too!), as well as some decent sun time.
One of my friends detached a leaf from the plant, it stood over 6 feet tall!  Lets see if you can beat it!
